Wow! what a great day.. Mothers day has always been a painful experience for the past 12 years. i never could see beyond the pain and tragedy of her loss, the impact of her early death on my life and the unmatched love, care devotion and sacrifice she made to see me grow. but after yesterday's tears and reminiscing that even kept me from church. God led me back to i place that reminded me of my mom's greatest strength... her love for people.. a place where i last labored side by side with her, just the two of us-My village in chinyunyu. i hv been humbled by memories of her hard work, care, love and devotion, her spirituality and determination and these values which have always inspired me are lesson i pick today and hope will guide and redirect my life... I had fun for the first time on mothers day coz i have a mother to celebrate and though shez gone, her memory and influence lingers on as a sweet fragrance of my life.
